Ben's Graduation!!

Well, it's official!!! Ben is GRADUATED!! He finished his degree on April 20th, and then his graduation ceremony was on April 26th. He has really enjoyed being done! We all have! It's nice that now he is home on Saturdays, and in the evenings, and when he is home he isn't always stressed and worried about homework! We dropped Noah off at the Anderson's house on Thursday afternoon and then Ben and I caught a movie, went out to dinner, and checked into a hotel in Ogden since the first commencement ceremony was at 7:30 AM! We didn't want to drive that far first thing in the morning, so it was easier to just stay up there. After the morning ceremony was over we met up with a few of Ben's buddies and headed over to the student union building for a free lunch. We got busy chit chatting and almost missed the afternoon ceremony, the one where he actually gets the diploma, because we had to wait for a shuttle!! We rushed in and Ben got seated just as it started. Ron and Lynette met me in the audience seats with Noah, and we were able to actually sit fairly close to Ben's spot on the floor of the Dee Events Center, so that was really fun. We cheered and yelled for him when he was announced, even though we weren't supposed to. :) After taking pictures and everything, we went back to the Anderson's house where Noah and Ben both took naps before going to a great restaurant (Goodwood's) for a big family celebration dinner. All of Ben's family was able to attend except for the sister on a mission, so that was a lot of fun. All in all, I am incredibly proud of my amazing, hard working, determined, wonderful husband and his efforts and sacrifice to get this degree so he can best provide for our family. I love that man with all my heart!!! :)

Pregnancy Update

Well I am 34 weeks this week, and I just got wonderful news from my doctor this morning! I went in for my regular check up and she asked me if I would like to go ahead and set up an inducement date for Joshua. I of course said yes since she offered to set it a week earlier than my actual due date! Woo hoo for one less week of pregnancy! :) So, June 2nd is the new magic date, and we KNOW he will be born that day (or possibly the 3rd, if he's stubborn) and it's nice to have a real date to count down to! I am so excited to get this little guy here, he is very wanted and loved already and I want to hold him in my arms. He is measuring right on track for where he should be, and he has already been head down for several weeks. His rear end is way up into my ribs, so much so that the doctor asked if I had been experiencing shortness of breath and dizzy spells, which I have. He is very comfortable in that position though, he's been like that for about a week solid! Josh is a squirmy baby, but doesn't kick and punch so much as just wiggle around a whole lot. It's kind of funny because it is a lot easier to feel lumps on my stomach (his bum, hands, and feet) and my stomach is rarely just a round shape, there is usually something poking out somewhere! I can't believe how much I already love this little baby, I can't wait for June! :)
